“Self-Extinct” tells the story of one’s struggle with anxiety, to the extent that worry has taken over and entirely replaced their conscious. This consternation has become its own being in a sense. The effort required to conceal this quiet monster causes further anguish and the ability to think, act, and live independently of such inner turmoil no longer exists.
